In addition, the whole idea of the project is based on exploring and developing new methods and practices to improve the work of basketball clubs and organisations for people with intellectual disabilities and to promote the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in and through sport.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';\">\u2022 Supporting active European citizenship and bringing the European dimension to<br>the local level \u2013 By facilitating partnerships and exchanges between the partners\u2019 local communities and through coordinated activities&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'; font-size: 14pt;\">in 4 European countries,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'; font-size: 14pt;\">the project will help to address common challenges, share best practices&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'; font-size: 14pt;\">and develop new tools in the field of&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'; font-size: 14pt;\">inclusive and adaptive sports and, more specifically, in special basketball.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';\">Increasing the quality of work and practices of the organizations and institutions<br>involved, opening up to new actors who are not naturally included in a given sector \u2013 one of the main expected results of the project is the development of the Special Basketball Training Guidelines, this result will not only contribute to improving the quality of work of the partners involved in this project, but also to all other relevant actors who will adopt the developed methodology.
